IGNITE: Small Group Experiences, Spring 2022

Posted by Jacob Tipantasig-Wolverton on

What is IGNITE?

IGNITE your faith as we build community together on Sunday evenings beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Union Chapel Indy. IGNITE is a unique experience in a community that focuses on building relationships as we share our stories with one another. We will have the opportunity to hear first-hand from those whose experiences and perspectives are often different from our own. Everyone is encouraged to "bring you and bring your story" to a welcoming & affirming space where we can gather, connect, and grow around the table to eat, listen, and share.

When: Sundays @ 5:00 p.m., beginning March 20th

Where: UCI Fellowship Hall

Topic during Lent:

My One Word: finding a new kind of resolution for the year. If you’re like most people, each January you choose a problematic behavior — or two, or three or four — that has plagued you for years, and vow to reverse it in the practice known as making New Year’s Resolutions.  BUT THE LONG LIST OF RESOLUTIONS OVERWHELMS OUR ABILITY TO FOCUS. CENTERING US ON THE TYPE OF PERSON WE REGRET BEING, RATHER THAN ON WHO WE DESIRE TO BECOME. WE NEED VISION, NOT REGRET. The My One Word challenge is simple: lose the long list of changes you want to make this year and instead pick one word that represents what you most hope God will do in or through you in the year ahead. This process forces clarity and results in focus. http://myoneword.org/about/
