When a Little Can Mean So Much!

Uganda
Last month, Union Chapel was given an opportunity to make an immediate impact for Christian brothers and sisters struggling to build a church in Uganda. Our friends at Grace Tabernacle Ministries (you might remember the Congolese choir from that church who have blessed us with their beautiful voices on several occasions) have been working alongside this Ugandan congregation — building a new structure with their own hands from bricks they made themselves.  The church was unroofed, and, though someone had donated the lumber, their urgent need was the metal infrastructure for the roofing.

Even as we were blessed to celebrate the groundbreaking of our new addition, Union Chapel was able to partner in an effort across the globe to provide funds toward the completion of the Ugandan church.

A new brick structure will be a great improvement to this wattle-and-daub style church in Uganda.

Kenya
You might also remember the special offering we took up to provide Bibles for a project in Kenya. Below, our friend from Grace Tabernacle, Emmanuel Musinga, completes this work, personally delivering the Bibles our congregation funded a few months ago.

May the Lord richly bless our struggling Christian brothers and sisters with our humble gifts!  May our hearts be ever softened and alert to the needs of mankind, everywhere.
